STEPHEN O`CONNOR

Stephen O'Connor was born in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Growing up on the west coast of Florida, he and his brothers developed a quick appreciation of the ocean and all of the creatures that relied on it.  Spending so much time on the ocean, (specifically, the intercoastal water ways), he quickly established a foundation and love of nature by bringing injured birds to the local bird sancutary.  Stephen began drawing as a young boy, so it was only natural for him to sketch his experiences of the water which included fish, birds and the natural beauty of the Florida landscape.  Later in life, Stephen's love of art led him to Europe where he attended the Professionale Per Scalpellini School in Lasa, Italy where he bacame an EU Marble Sculptor. His main passion has always been painting marine life and he continues to develop his skills by reflecting the ocean through painting and drawing.
